Wesley Demory to Speak at Canadian Institute’s Compliance Conference Held January 28-29, 2026 in Toronto

The Canadian Institute’s 15th Annual Forum on “U.S. Export and Reexport Compliance For Canadian Operations” conference will be held January 28-29, 2026, in Toronto. Partner Wesley Demory will be among speakers on “Cloud Computing: Defining U.S. and Canadian Encryption, IT and Cyber Controls to Satisfy ITAR, EAR Requirements”. U.S. and Canadian compliance professionals and counsel will speak on topics including supply chain diversification, trade uncertainty, and classification decision-making. John Sonderman, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Export Enforcement at the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security, will provide an update on enforcement. Pre-conference workshops will be held January 27, 2026.
